A wonderful program for young riders! My daughter started here as a complete beginner about 3-4 months ago at age 4, and the progress she’s made has been amazing to watch. She’s learned to trot, control her horse independently, and even navigate 360-degree turns within a small square, and recently tried cantering into a gallop – impressive skills for such a young rider. She’s also gone on independent trail rides, which felt like a huge milestone for us as parents. Beyond riding itself, the program teaches real horsemanship: how to saddle a horse, how to care for and feed them, and general responsibility around these animals. She even gets to join in fun games (like tag on horseback!) that keep lessons feeling playful, not just technical. Her pony, Shadow, has become like a family member at this point. We celebrated her 5th birthday with him, and she even “transformed” him into a sparkly unicorn for the day with a 3D-printed horn and a sequenced blanket – a memory we’ll treasure forever. A huge part of why this program has been such a success is her instructor, Tasha. She grew up around horses, and it shows – she’s endlessly patient, kind, and knows exactly how to teach young kids in a way that builds real confidence and skills! My daughter adores her, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better instructor to guide her into riding. Highly recommend this program for any family looking to introduce their child to horses in a safe, nurturing, and genuinely fun environment.

The facilities are absolutely stunning and the grounds are welcoming and clean. The horses are incredibly well cared for and the owners are knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. They make sure to hire the best trainers they can find and that their lesson horses are very safe for the students. They have a huge heart for horses and even rescue some horses that have been malnourished and find them loving homes, once they are well. I cannot say enough good things. If you are looking for a barn that has that “magical” feeling, this is the one.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Bosque Equine Connections! My 5-year-old daughter had her first lesson with trainer, Tasha, and from the moment we arrived, Tasha made us both feel so welcome. She was punctual, patient, and took the time to get to know my daughter before they even got near the horses – which meant the world to me as a mom. My daughter left glowing and hasn’t stopped talking about it since. We will absolutely be returning and couldn’t recommend Tasha and this facility more highly!

My daughter, Pumpkin, has been riding with this school for a couple of months. It has ansolutely made a difference in self-esteem and love for horses. Bosque Equine Connections has been a godsend for her. She has learned so much about horse care and what incredible animals horses can be. She has learned so much in just such a short time. Pumpkin really trusts her trainers and her trainers trust her. It has truly been beautiful to see my Pumpkin in her growth not just in riding horses, but her self-esteem all the way around.
